Tomorrow is the start of August--Wow! What ever happened to July? It certainly didn't wait for me. So I'll get one blog in before July is over.
We are going on vacation tomorrow. Our first stops will be business. We are taking some pedestals and boxes to Washington galleries--Childhoo';s End in Olympia, Northwest Fine Woodworking in Seattle, then Earthenworks in LaConner. Then comes the vacation part of the trip. We are going over the northern Cascades, a new territory for Bill and I. We hope to get to Grand Coulee Dam before dark. In May we went across Hoover Dam; Grand Coulee is another one of those American landmarks on my "must see" list.
Then it will be on to Montana. Bill and I both grew up in Montana. we are returning for the 90th birthday celebration for Bill's aunt, Dorothy. Our daughter Stephanie and grandson Elliott arrive in Kalispell Thursday afternoon. We plan to be at the airport to pick them up. Then it's on to fun in the sun and mountains for a week.
